the purpose of this research was to describe and establish the differences in levels of socialization and in each of its dimensions: self-esteem, behavior, play and identification among children of 5 years of the initial Educational Institution No. 827 of the Huaycuñuta community of the district of Velille - province of Chumbivilcas 2016. The work with simple descriptive design was carried out in a sample population made up of 14 boys and girls from the 5 year old classroom. Likewise, the instrument is described: Observation Guide to evaluate the level of socialization, used for data collection, which is valid and reliable. For the interpretation of the results we used: frequency tables, descriptive statistical charts: Mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. It is concluded that: The average level of socialization presented by children of 5 years, is regular; in the dimension of self-esteem and identification, it is good; and, in the behavior and game dimensions, it is regular. Girls have a better level of socialization and its dimensions: self-esteem and identification than children; children have a better level of behavior than girls; and the same level of play between boys and girls. Among the objectives that I continued with the present study is: To establish the difference in the levels of socialization; describe the level of socialization Establish the difference in levels of socialization and in each of its dimensions: self-esteem, behavior, play and identification among children of 5 years of the Initial Educational Institution N° 827.
